Nothing illegal and I don’t wanna hide myself from companies or governments or anything, I just don’t want the recipient to know any personal info about me more than I wanna share

Crypto isn’t an option

Edit: Sending/handing cash isn’t an option either

In the US, you can go to the post office and get a “money order” which is a lot like a cheque that you can mail.

cash is the best option if you either mail or deliver it to them, it’s rather easy to dead-end a person on the paper trail that way. Just put a fake name and address on it for the return address, and don’t include anything in the letter that could be linked back to you if you mail it.

Some money apps work for anonymous money transfers, but you’d need their information for it. I don’t really do much with money apps so I couldn’t give you recommendations, but they’re an option.

otherwise, everything leaves a trail that’s pretty easy to follow by the recipient. Maybe you could get a temporary credit card and use that, but I’m not 100% on how those work.

Cash still is the best option. I support this argument because everything else leaves a data-trail.

Imo it depends on the sum and level of trust. If you trust your business partners cash surely is the best options. Though i wouldn’t go through mail because then you got a security / insurance problem without need for it.

I also support debit cards because i use them myself but only for smaller things.

Otherwise if the sums exceed four figures: Palladium, Osmium, Iridium come to mind.

That’s not true. They’ll only be discarded if they are undeliverable. You can send a normal letter in the US through the USPS without a return address.

that’s not true in my experience at all. every letter sent without a return address gets delivered.

    Why not?

Crypto isn’t an option; Sending/handing cash isn’t an option

Gift or debit cards, anonymous accounts with (foreign) banks (might be illegal or suspicious), things that can be easily resold (some countrys require disclusing the source for large amounts of e.g. gold though)

Crypto and cash are one of the most anonymous payment methods, so… Probably some kind of gift card or a virtual credit/debit card.

Pay someone to pass on the money?

Toy could even pay them in cash/crypto and use a false name lol.
