    “priced out”

    Man, I hate that term. Sure the business owners call it “sad” and decry the current cost of living… but they’re still open, right? They won’t pay their workers a living wage (yes, that depends on the area they chose to operate in), but I bet they vote for all the pro-tourism measures on the ballot every year. I bet they “adjust” the menu prices of their bar or bistro based on demand…

    And at the same time, the local government needs to reign in the limitless greed of real-estate investors beyond just building one small lower-income housing structure.

    Fuck everyone in that town, because they’re already fucking the workers…
