One could say they’re killing it off.
One could say they’re killing it off.
$6,000 worth of hearing aids later, I remain unimpressed.
My wife and I bought her last car at CarMax and it was absolutely haggle and pressure free. We had spent hours prior at a Honda dealership and the pressure for so heavy, it had my wife in tears. We will always use either CarMax or private party in the future.
I block communities that routinely show up that I am not interested in seeing and use a monkey script to block instances of no value to me.
No, simply because I don’t “have to” have content. If Lemmy lacks interesting content, I go outside for a while.
War is so weird now. I don’t know how well I would have handled living in a foxhole if I knew a model helicopter could fly by at any time and drop my untimely demise.
The term soaring is pretty relative in this case. It’s still completely unknown to the majority of the world. It’s just like Lemmy, where the very few rigid types that absolutely couldn’t stand for one particular thing that happened to their social network will do anything, including cutting their nose off to spite their face rather than continue to use it. That’s why we’re all here and it’s why nobody else but us are coming.
You would be correct but he’s not the best at cleaning the carpet up after his ejection event.
How do those bowls work for slowing down their chow time? We’ve got one dog that eats so quickly, he throws it back up sometimes.
I guess I fucking don’t.
Not offended at all. This behavior is completely expected. Don’t share your terrible experience until someone else is talking about how your post-employer misled their viewers, then pile on when it will get clicks.

“They’re super-terrible to work for and I’ve just coincidentally chose this period of the company’s social implosion to quit and speak up. This is definitely not a bandwagon move. #metooLMG”
Those look super nifty. It makes me wish I had a printer.
I’ve hopped to another server due to the abysmal uptime of late. I’ll continue checking in though. I know they’re working on adding sysops so I’m sure things will improve.
What did Gizmodo think might happen instead? That everyone, including those that were never impacted by 3rd party app changes, would just abandon the site, leaving it without users? “Peak journalism”.
It really depends on where you live. For instance, in Western NC, I was completely left to my own devices on the trail systems. local IMBA group asked that I just keep track of my hours so they could add to the volunteer sheet that they turned into the forestry service. I was given the ok to take anything out I wanted; chainsaws, mowers, weedeaters, sickles, etc. In my new area, it’s more structured so I joined a FB group for the local club and asked them if I could do maintenance on the trail closest to me. They gave me the go-ahead so I go out to that trail when I want to do work.
I always try to find the most unused trail in the area to work on as I prefer the solitude when being out in the woods.
For those offended by subscription for ad-free experience and data collection, consider Connect for Lemmy. No data collection and no pay-to-browse scheme.

The only thing that surprises me is that this fact surprises anyone.
Rather than rely on an extension, I think I would add the publicly listed up ranges to my hosts file. That will blackhole any connections where a browser extension wouldn’t actually stop anything until it was being processed by the extension.
