2·1 year agoI decided to set up a Jellyfin server yesterday, I guess it’s a somewhat niche thing to do. The jellyfin subreddit was down yesterday, and it seemed that was pretty much the only place to find any useful information. I had a nightmare trying to set it up!!
That extra dig at the Apollo developer really isn’t going to do the website any good.
I feel like Lemmy would be a much more interesting space if it was able to grow more organically and find other communities and links, that aren’t only linked to Reddit.
4·1 year agoI disagree tbh, I think this is a pretty significant issue for Reddit and can see a whole lot of people just walking away from the site. Redditors are stubborn 😂

Yeah Beehaw seems to have been removed from the ‘Join a Server’ page. I tried maybe 15 times to join Lemmy.ml as well. Honestly hoping these are just small bumps in the road, so it’s easier for new users to join!
