i have that issue as well, sometimes it’s missing results and other times i get the same result repeated on page 2. not sure why that happens, but i guess it’s just a bit buggy.

yeah it works but if you use a local instance you have to compile the extension yourself to include your instance.
i just use my local searxng instance and get results from like 10 engines including ddg, then filter with ublacklist
I’m still using uMatrix (actually a nuTensor fork) because of other features. uBO doesn’t have the exact same features…
is it possible to block XSS requests and enable cookies for selected domains on NoScript as well?
“I Die at the End”
afaik they blacklisted certain search terms after getting copyright strikes, not sure where i read that though.
With 1024 megs of ram I guess you’ll be able to run roytam1’s new browsers (K-Meleon, NewMoon27/28, IceApe-UXP, etc) using Win2K extended kernel as well. (win2k.org)
Nice website!
I’m thinking of making something similar again someday lol.
i just have top running through ssh on an xterm window.
I just download from whatever site’s available on the megathread…
Yes so I was implying that parent poster might’ve been using the unofficial fake site instead.
I’m sorry but isn’t that 1377x?
On what hardware do you run 9front?
slackware, freebsd, netbsd
I’m running it on my laptop, has skylake i5 ulv with 8 gigs of ddr3 and a tlc micron ssd with slackware linux installed (no docker, manual server config).
Mine is selfhosted as well. I enabled many engines (Google, Bing, DDG, Yahoo, Naver, Qwant, Brave, a few more) and a single search query takes about 8 to 10 seconds. I have pretty fast internet connection, it would be great if I can make it faster lol. I’m using DDG when I need a quick search due to that.
The only con is that its super slow with many engines enabled…
I just press C-d and create a bookmark.
being korean this is pretty embarassing lol
