What would you do if you came across Jeff Bezos on the street or somewhere else for some reason?

Edit: I ask, because we all hate him, but there are a lot factors that would limit how we act in the hypothetical moment we meet him.

Edit2: Basically, what would you do, considering Jeff is a human, regardless of how despicable he is, and that what one wants to do is not necessarily what one should do.

Despite disliking him, there’s no need to he rude, it achieves nothing of value.

Tbh, this question seems to be somewhat looking for more hateful comments, which really ain’t productive…

Pardon me. That was not my intention. There are a lot of people who hold a deep hate against him, but they cannot do what they so deeply desire to do, because no matter how despicable of a human being he is, he still is just that, a human being who deserves to live and who acts based on his own desires and misguided beliefs. He is a product of the social context of his upbriging, genetics and experiences that shaped his being. He is a victim of fate and luck.

So my question was more intended to get an insight in what would or should be done in the hypothetical event that these Lemmy users here were to meet one of their (I assume) greatest embodiment of evil and undesirability, taking into consideration the morality of one’s actions and one’s own limitations.

Pardon me then, jumped to that conclusion too fast.

Still, gotta keep in mind that a question like that will end up attracting such comments.

I would think: wow! That person kinda looks like Jeff Bezos. Then maybe get a picture from a distance to show people how similar this person looks to Jeff Bezos.

Tell him to pave the way and put his back into it. I’d then wait until he tells us why; shows us how; looks at where he comes from and looks at himself now.

I will remind him if he is not good for his family, will not be good for anything even if he became a an angle sent from god. Regarding cheating his wife.

Why did all the downvotes disappear? I remember back then when I wrote this post that it had a lot more downvotes.

I have no hatred for him, maybe I don’t know something. Do I need to know this? Will this information change my life? I’ve always been a little amused by the reaction to celebrities. You have to ask for an autograph, ask for something, or find out something. Perhaps I would be more curious if it was an alien, I would really ask why is he here? A “successful” person is just a person. I have little interest in “success” or “money.” Maybe that’s why I have no questions for him. He is one of over 7 billion people. Would pass by.
