I use a cheap android phone (<$120 when I bought it 3 years ago). I protect it with cheap case + Hydrogel screen protector. I’m satisfied with Hydrogel type screen protector as it still on good condition even after my phone falls screenfirst many times. There are many scratches right now on the screen protector, but it still usable and not annoying as most scratches located on the edge of screen. Most of them caused by falling sceenfirst to gravel ground and asphalt several times… lol.

I only got my Pixel 6a about a month ago, so it’s in the best condition it will ever be in! For my 4a I had a Spigen Rugged armor case but switched to Caseology for this phone, but that’s also owned by Spigen. I think I prefer this case, as it gives the phone a nice weight to it while also feeling like I can grip it better. The only reason I upgraded was due to water damage…

I’ve never used a screen protector myself. I noticed the difference with my sister’s phone and I don’t like it compared to the feel of bare screen.

I don’t have any protection. My phone fell down once on asphalt (because my headphones were connected weirdly and my backpack pulled it out of my pocket), the screen is slightly cracked but now it won’t crack anymore

I’ve got a Poco X4 Pro with a glass screen protector and a Spigen rugged armour case. I drop my phone often and as far as I can tell, it’s still in excellent condition

I have a case, screen and protection plan. I’ve just replaced the screen protector and case so everything is is perfect condition right now 😊

Pixel 5 with no case, matte screen protector mainly for low friction even on damp fingers, no protection plan (saves money), pristine condition (I don’t drop my phone). The only damage it ever gets is poor battery life so I usually get it swapped after a few years. This one I’ve only had for a year so far but I had the Pixel 2 for 5 years before that and it went through a couple battery replacements. It was still in pristine condition when I had to switch to the 5 because even a fresh install of lineage was giving me “system ui stopped responding” and other buggy junk constantly :(

I have never used a screen protector on a phone. Also never spent more than 400euros on a phone. Currently use a OP Nord 2 with a case. I think it’s the official sandstone case. I bought the phone in Oct 2021 and it has some micro scratches on the screen. No other issues.

I paid $200 for an iPhone SE about 5 years ago, then put the phatest case I could find and a tempered glass screen protector on it. It’s practically in mint condition besides 3 battery replacements, and I can use it one handed!

I use a case since I dropped it and the back (glass) is cracked. Because I don’t want to risk cutting my hand, I’m using the case that came with the phone.

Still no screenprotector though. There are some micro scratches, but no visible damage when using it.

3.5+ year old phone. No phone specific insurance either.

I use a case, one that also protects the face with high edges, also a screen protector, the hard perspex type. Well worth protecting your investment.

I use a good case (not the one the phone came with, Xiaomi cases are terrible) and a good tempered glass (the phone came with a low quality hydrogel). The phone is in great condition because i never drop it (phones are expensive in my country so i plan to use it for a lot of years)

1. I use a drop-protection case, but no glass-protector. Not really necesarry for me.

2. I have had my phone for close to three years and gone through three or four cases, but it is still in pretty good condition. No scratches or microscrated on the body or screen and no dents.

Otterbox Defender. 5+ years and still mint condition, except some paint scratches on the headphone and USB inputs.
