Didn’t I hear somewhere that I can view Mastodon posts through Lemmy? I tried federating like you do with other Lemmy instances, but I guess it either can’t be done or has to be done another way
That would be incredibly cool! Unfortunately, I don’t know how either.
I’ve seen and played with lemmy posts in mastodon, but I honestly haven’t heard or seen much about the reverse. I’ll play around with it and see if I can make sense of anything.
From what I understand Mastodon can read lemmy-verse instances but not vice versa. There might be a way to code a Lemmy instance to do what you are after. But I’m not sure!
this… may or may not get added in the far-flung future as a part of the software? dessalines is open to it, nutomic isn’t really, who knows how they’ll go on it.
@cih (I think this will work…) I’m not super active but if you click my name it should lead to me over on a Mastodon instance. This is more of my general profile so my posts are all over the place, but likely fall back to video game stuff more often than not, with the odd boosting of game posts here & there.
Also sometimes just random old tech stuff or folks looking for help with old tech, 'cause I appreciate retro tech & maintaining it.

Been on Mastodon for a while, it was my intro to the Fediverse and I’d never really used Twitter so was surprised how well I took to it!
