I’m continually amazed by how out of touch CEOs are. How the hell did spez think the AMA was going to go? He’d just copy paste some generic responses and suddenly everything’s golden?

I don’t think most of us realize just how little contact people at that level have with the world around them. When I say they live in a bubble of rich privileged people, I mean they literally never set foot outside of it. They have people to cook for them, clean for them, drive them places, do their taxes, run to the store, virtually anything you can think of that requires contact with a regular human being they subcontract out. Everyone they communicate with is in the exact same situation, and it leads to a literal alternate reality of living.
I think it’s more to do with sitting in a position between two or more groups with radically different interests. In this case, investors/future shareholders and their users.
I’ve read some comments saying must have he seen the literally thousands of comments calling him an idiot and he lost his cool. He couldn’t stop himself from making argumentative comments and was probably told by someone else to walk away.

I feel like it wasn’t even him doing the AMA. Seemed too scripted so he didn’t even bother to show up
He did copy and paste responses I saw a post somewhere on here, with a screenshot of a before and after, removing an A: from his answer
Yes, he edited out the “A:” from one of his responses after someone pointed it out.
His answers were scripted? They were terrible. My theory was that he could have scripted them ahead of time but instead he blew it off and winged it.
I mean I could have scripted better answers than that.
When you’re doing obviously shitty things there’s no way to answer questions other than deflect and dodge. His PR team did the best they could lol
