I was wondering if there is more people here that play PoE and if so if they have or would be interested industry forming and guild of tankies over there
I am thinking of trying it when PoE2 comes out. Something nice about getting into a fresh game.
I don’t know how familiar you are with the game but its season based and in the 9th this month it’ll be a new season everyone starts from zero, so it’s quite fresh if you ask me, if you want to try it out I can help you with what I know
I’ve heard it’s difficult for new players to get into which is why I’m hesitant.
That is somewhat true but it does not have to be the case, because the game is fun and have lots of fun ways to play, imagine its a board game covention and you have a hundred table top games to play, you can spend a couple of hours playing on the entry game and having a blast before moving to the advanced stuff and you can go on advancing at your pace, so yeah if you wanna go straight up to the deep end can be overwhelming but if you wanna make a character and go thorough the campaign, and maybe a little bit of the end game to get a taste for it, its a blast still
Are there any guides for getting into it?
If you want we can get a meet on jitsi and I can explain what I know, don’t know all about the very top end of the game but I believe I know well the meat and potatoes of the game and I like to think I’m good at explaining things

If you want a “good” character build for late-game stuff, look around YouTube or forums for a “beginner friendly” or “league starter” or something like that, it will tell you how to level up and what skills to use.
You can also just fuck around and learn by doing which is fun in its own way. It’s not nearly as incomprehensible as something like Warframe, and while there is a lot going on, you can mostly just take your time and learn naturally as you go through the main quest.

Impossible, I play every league.
Oh damn, i played three before i started to feel like Sisyphus. I started to wait for PoE2 back then but it’s so much overdue that i contantly forgot both games. Also the trade and crafing system is truly inane. I much prefer Last Epoch, at least until it releases in next year and they undoubtedly also go in the shit seasonal direction.
I like the seasonal stuff, it’s been a core part of the PoE experience since the original release 10 years ago and seems to be a good solution to the longevity and economy issues inherent to multiplayer ARPGs.
I stopped playing it. But keep this guild alive if you start it. I will definitely join sometime next year
