It would be cool if there was a way to block without having to visit a site like massivecock@lemmynsfw.com first.
I use the Associated Press app. They have never asked me to pay and I don’t see stupid articles that are just links to Reddit or Cracked.
Every single American worker needs to unionize now! Don’t let these corporations convince you that it’s bad for the worker. There is a reason they spend millions fighting against it.
The last few weeks away from Reddit made me realize it hadn’t been fun for a long time. It just became a habit.
I would welcome them but I don’t know how long that would last. The problem for me is that Christianity, in its current form, holds several views that I fundamentally disagree with and believe make it a hate group. I’m not tolerant of that.
It’s still a work in progress. I can be patient while the community and support grows.
Well as a former Redditor I say fuck that. We saw what happened to Reddit. Let try not to repeat that here.
Are they? I haven’t seen anyone demanding that yet but I’m certainly not a seasoned fediverse vet. I never cared about Karma on Reddit so hopefully it doesn’t make it here.
I am a bit confused about this. I paid a one time fee to Apollo for features but I would not expect him to refund that. I re-downloaded the app (deleted it 3 weeks ago when I left Reddit) and did not see the option to opt out of a refund. I want to make sure that Christian does not have to pay out for me.
Reminds me of Reddit around 2010.
For some of us the final day was weeks ago. It’s time to let go and focus on what you have. Why are we all still obsessing over ducking Reddit. It’s over. Done.
Probably the first since that is the day the bullshit goes into effect.
I keep forgetting about it because I don’t look on Apple TV much. I love Rebecca Ferguson and Rashida Jones so I should. Thanks for the reminder!
Thanks for this. I didn’t realize that and had it set to Local.
Perfect! Thank you so much! This really clarified things for me.
Thank you! So by default, when come to Lemmy.world are the “posts” (not sure if that is the right term) I see on the lemmy.world instance only? If I subscribe to one like you said will it start to show in my default view? I’m probably just trying to apply my Reddit thinking here and need to change my perspective.
I am a software engineer and have interest in creating tools to help but feel like I need a better understanding of the fediverse first.
So Lemmy.world and Kbin are service providers? If so then how, using Lemmy.world, do I connect to other service providers or am I already connected and just don’t realize it. That is one part I am struggling with right now. Anyway, really enjoying my time here.
My son who is 15 just started watching it and loves it. Seems like it has appeal across generations.
I’ve never checked a songs genitalia myself.
