My mother kept her last name. There was never an issue at school etc. I run into more issue now, everyone thinks my uncle (mom’s brother) is my dad because of the last names.

My wife took my last name because she had her father’s last name. He abandoned her shortly after birth and never attempted to get in touch with her. He quit jobs to avoid paying support. She did it to remove that last vestige of him from her life. Had she had her mother’s last name we would have hyphenated our names together.

And then it will catch on and Google will abandon it.

I always thought home improvement would have been a better show without Tim Allen. Al was a better person in every way. Neil Flynn should have played the lead role.

When i was a kid we let nature do it, so the laundry went directly from the washer to the line. I would do the same thing with a pair of socks to test it. Once they are frozen, defrost and dry as normal.

Freeze them after washing them. When I was a kid we did not have a dryer, and dried clothes on a clothesline. One thing I loved about the winter was how soft my clothes felt after they froze on the line before drying.
