That fitting is installed between the hot and cold supply lines at a single location/fixture in the house, usually the farthest away from the heater. Then, a compatible tankless heater can use a pump to push hot water out while pulling the cold water back in through the cold supply line - so no extra recirculating pipe has to be installed. You trigger the recirculation with a switch at the fixture, on a schedule, or with an app/smart home device.

The first one was done in Jan 2022. The patient, David Bennet, survived for 2 months.

On older versions, I think you have to log in to more than one account, or one account twice, before the option to log out appears. If one account is logged in twice, it will fully log out.

I don’t know, this sounds more like the ‘finding out’ part after Huy Fong fucked around with their longtime supplier, Underwood — they attempted to claw back > $1M in 2016 and eventually were found to be in the wrong to the tune of $23.3M.

Now they seem to be scrambling to find reliable suppliers in Mexico, and aren’t doing well.
