I can’t listen to music without data collection, subscriptions and ADs
Bluetooth is pretty lossy unless you are using LDAC. That said so is a 128k or 64k music file. LDAC is 990kbps
Is not always this simple though. If the window has yet to be spawned in some languages the width will be unavailable, until after. Sometimes the window can be seen before it moves to the center which is a bit jarring.
When I worked at Pizza Hut many years ago the terminals in the store were all simply dumb terminals that connected to the main server. It’s more efficient and cost effective that way so I would assume McDonalds which is a major corporation to have the same level of sophistication. But I as you suggest may be vastly overestimating things.
Pretty sure that’s a monitor. I would assume there is a server in back with VMs hosting the displays.
So you’re making 200k+ a year and can’t afford to pay your debts? Sounds like a money management issue with that kind of salary. To put it in context a modest rent of $2000 a month would be about 24000 a year out of your 138000 take home pay. So either you’re not in the top 2 percent or something’s fishy.
Okay. If excuses make you feel better, sure.
Which in turn replaces people. What happens if a person is 50 percent more productive with AI? Is the company going to let them simply have 50% of the workload they would before, or will they lay off the other unneeded employees?
Sure it may produce a game but much of what makes a game good is making it fun and memorable. If we can eventually create a general AI then absolutely I think such a thing is possible. Otherwise it will be a copypasta mishmash and having a cohesive and fluent design is a huge if.
I mean technically he’s correct. There absolutely are jobs out there netting 150k+ a year. Even without any college education if you are not afraid to climb the corporate ladder.
It’s in Sync as well. I don’t know why I always read complaints about sync not being updated frequently.
The motto was ‘Born from Jets’ so I always expected a military history for the company.
But even in JavaScript a string representation of null is not equal to a null literal. ‘null’ or “null” are not the same as null
How the heck does a system interpret a string value null as a literal null? That seems insane to me that there really is software out there written like this. “null” != null… Or so I thought, maybe there are languages out there that this can happen in easily? Or someone is storing the string value of null in a non nullable database column?
I bet that will work about as well as trickle down economics.
That doesn’t compute here. Like I have literally 0 problems with Windows. That’s certainly not been my experience with Linux. Oh bought a new drawing tablet, nah that won’t work. Oh need to update for firmware on a device, yeah better have windows. Oh you bought a recent printer, better not use Linux.
The system requirements are like any system from the last 6 years. Are people really using computers this old? I hear a bunch of people commenting about businesses but at least at the companies I worked at we never had machines older than 4 years old. Seems kind of overblown.
Oh yea and bring on the down votes. I understand this is Lemmy and anything that challenges the hatred of Windows is met with extreme disagreement.
