Is it? Humans have cooperated for much of our history. And even when power structures are pushing them against each other people literally risk life and limb to help them.

It’s an interesting and detailed post.
I think it has brought a lot to the table.
What did your comment bring?
Lot of people more annoyed that language is a living, changing thing than the predatory nature of in game purchases (but we all knew the latter already, so this isn’t gonna be news to us).
That putrefy has hideous art, so good for this set. Can feel Julie’s pain/fear.
I like the art/flavour text combo for Deathreap Ritual too.
I think Night’s Whisper is my favourite for the horror flavour text.
Green removal that doesn’t need a creature in play, prevents a lot of blow outs.
Luckily it’s a sorcery, so it won’t be too hard to play around or make one reassess their choices.
Nice spooky-jump scare design. Love the spider-hand in the art, too.
Yes, I’m sure that Fox News explains the endurance Joseph Smith’s religion.
Please be performance art…
It certainly sold itself as feminist and forward thinking, but the conservatism of USociety certainly took control of the scripts early on.
Damn, gotta be ramping really hard to make Forgotten Cellar worth it.
Kinda a shame it missed the Cappenna sac lands in standard.
I think the equip cost stops this being too oppressive, unless white/red is very token heavy… In which case it’ll really help the colour pair out.
Black gets a lot of direct damage “life steal” effects this set.
Board wipe that gives you cards for your stuff that died = great
Impulsed = ok
Blow out potential = eek!
Because Leyline Binding wasn’t good enough already (although it doesn’t play nicely with the double B in the cost).
Scarily efficient as while a 2B for instant speed uncondital removal with downside is 1 too expensive… The upside of hitting target enchantment seems way high and makes this at least standard playable I reckon.
It’s a colourless 4/3 for 4, which is slightly understated but hopefully trades up.
And then there’s the upside of it being an artifact in a set that has Delirium, and the morph having potential upside too.
That said, since both of those only touch Green draft architypes it may well turn out to be a secret gold card rather than the colourless it appears to be.
Land becomes a 3/3 that can block or be tapped for mana on what’s left of that turn cycle, and then can be pumped to a 6/6 after combat or you can make a second 3/3 land…
This card hurts my brain to think about what it does, and having a maybe tapped 3/3 after combat doesn’t seem great but the flood protection of all lands being at least a potential 3/3 in the late game feels very good.
Triggers once and it’s good. More than that is delicious gravy, so seems strong and bodes well for Manifest in limited if you can get a few of these.
Having a rules correction before the mechanic has even released is a big headache and makes it much harder for me to grasp the mechanics and how it works.
Blargh.
Yes, you seemed very sarcastic in your reasonable and not at all defensive responses to other people.
