Terraria for sure, it took maybe 30 minutes and I was hooked for days until I beat it. I still come back every few years to do it again

A bit late, but hypixel skyblock may fit (it’s a minecraft mmo based on 1.8.9) which has many idle game components and many ways to play while active
Really excited to see how this turns out. I think I would have loved just a standard skyrim type rpg from obsidian, but this direction shift makes it even more appealing.
Minecraft, there are so very many modpacks out there and i have played a lot of them, not to mention multiplayer servers such as hypixel. Really quite a lot to do there. Probably the second game would be League of Legends. and in third place we have Garry’s Mod, each of these games probably with 4000+ hrs each.
Desperately trying to look anywhere but at the security guards or cameras in case they might find it suspicious
I think when it makes sense it’s fine, but I would only really say that for multiplayer games, if it’s a single player game there is a really unfortunate reality, which is that pirating it will result in a better gameplay experience.
