I thought the same but support wrote to me: „…they are looking into this idea since there are users that are requesting it, however, the Proton Pass feature, as well as the Pass Plus plan, are recently released and we can assure you that adding a new subscription plan isn’t on our roadmap.“

According to customer support, there are no plans to do so either. They wrote to me: “There are currently no such plans and it has never been discussed”.

The way they force you onto their most expensive plan is not very transparent to me. I have Pass Plus and I can’t upgrade to Mail Plus. I would have to upgrade to Unlimited with features I don’t need.

I recently tested Proton Pass and really liked it. I immediately got the limited offer for 12€ per year. Then I thought about it for a while and wanted to get Mail Plus as well.

To my negative surprise, I can’t subscribe to Mail Plus if I have Pass Plus and would have to switch to Unlimited. 12.99€ per month is far too expensive for me and paying for 1 or 2 years straight away is too much.

Since I don’t need a VPN or a 500GB drive, I’m now considering between Skiff and Tutanota. Although I would actually rather have Proton Mail…

Ich stimme dir zu. Ich gendere selbst in Text und Sprache und bin absolut für Gleichberechtigung in jeglicher Hinsicht.

Ein Gesetz rein weiblich zu schreiben ist mir im Prinzip egal, aber wenn man es mit Gleichberechtigung ernst meint, sollte man das Gesetz dann nicht einfach geschlechterneutral schreiben?

So eine unnötige Provokation schafft nur, dass Gendern beim rechten Rand der österreichischen Bevölkerung verpönter wird. Und da wir in Österreich leider sehr viele Rechtswähler haben, dient das der Sache weniger als es schadet.
