3·6 days agoI finally had the chance to use a modern heat pump and they are FANTASTIC, I have only seen it in heating mode but even with very low temps it was very warm and cozy.

okay one trick is to use the mode where pulling back on the joystick flips your ship 180° and never moving, just stay in the middle and flip and rotate!

domestic water pressure varies around 30-80 PSI. Faucet has to deal with smoothly managing that pressure at all times (on 2 lines) while allowing selective amounts out daily for years.
The $12 ones on Ali Express will leak and break within a year. That $60 Kohler faucet may go 10 years before you need to replace a washer and 20 years with no issues before it gets replaced. Kohler faucets also have a limited lifetime warranty against leaks. I assume other higher end manufacturers offer something similar.
When measured against the expected use it’s a pretty good bargain unless you get one that’s super fancy with unnecessary add ons.
it’s a little sappy but Chappel Roan’s Red Wine Supernova is what finally broke through my thick skull and cracked my egg 7 or so months ago. Specifically the line about standing there in gogo boots and a short skirt waiting for a pretty girl to bite on you. I kept listening to it over over and i just thought it was neat and then this lightbulb went off and i realized oh hey i want that to be me. I’m the girl in the skirt wanting to be bit!
