I’m having a great time too. I was apprehensive before the release as I was worried all the changes might make the game too difficult for me but that hasn’t been the case at all… part of that may be the spiritborn being so strong though!
Weirdly I’ve found the opposite to you in that I think I’ve levelled up faster this season than usual but I think that’s just because I’ve gotten better and more used to the game, I only really started playing in season 4. I didn’t start playing the new season until Wednesday and I’ve only played evenings after work and I’ve made my way to torment 3 already.
Haven’t tried the citadel yet, thought I’d wait until I have a really decent build together first.
It sure is. Nerfs come in different sizes though and this one seems to be a butchering.
However, everyone is probably going to be playing spirit born anyway so… I don’t suppose it really matters.
Goodbye lightning spear sorcerer.
Then you end up with a whole map where you can only go one or two places to be challenged. Huge areas that are completely pointless and offer no reward, instead just having to go and do the same area over and over again. How boring.
The feeling of getting stronger comes from the gear you find and working out ways that you can get the powers they have to synergise with each other.
I’d much rather have it this way. As an example, I played starfield a while ago and even though it has dozens and dozens of star systems you are stuck with just 3 or 4 that offer even the slightest challenge at the later levels.
Edit: That’s not to say that levelled areas don’t work in other games of course. I love to play Valheim and that has levelled biomes but it’s a completely different game. It’s a journey with a start and end (end still not done though). It’s meant to be beaten, finished. Diablo isn’t like that, it’s a perpetual game. Elden ring is another example but again is a game that’s meant to be beaten.
Why would it be a problem? It’d be laughably easy if the mobs stayed the same as they were when you start the game at lvl 1.
So that’s where Radiohead got the idea!
I know it’s a flawed game but, I’m also having a lot of fun playing it. I’m currently level 141 on ng+12. I’m also looking forward to dlc… well, actually that depends on if it’s included in game pass, if it isn’t then I probably won’t bother with it.
I think that’s the plan. Rumour is that Microsoft want out of the console hardware business. They want to just be a game producer and subscription platform. They want gamepass on PlayStation and Nintendo and, well everywhere and then they can stop making consoles.
Who knows if that’s even possible though. It seems like hell would freeze over before Sony and Nintendo let gamepass on their platforms but, stranger things have happened.
Fortunately, I have zero recollection of that programme.
…dooby dooby quack quack”
I did some checking, weirdly both albums were released in the same month of the same year, June 2004.
The lackluster album is a selection of remixes of other artists tracks, so it’s possible he decided to use a ‘remix’ for the cover art too, changing the egg for an egg timer. There’s no remix of a Wilco track on the album though.
That’s my guess anyway, they seem way too similar to be a coincidence.
I actually used to talk with Esa (Esa Ruoho AKA lackluster) now and then many years ago on soulseek. Pity I’ve lost touch with him or I could have just asked him.
I saw the thumb nail and thought it was this album.
Hmm, that’s interesting.
I’m currently with Vodafone and they’re coming to install fibre to my home in a couple of days… for free! However, they’re only putting me on the 100mbps plan.
I’m out of contract with them so I think I’ll switch once the install is done.
I think it might be a known bug on multiplayer. I’ve only played that mission a couple of times with another player and it was bugged both times. We managed to complete it but there more than 6 waves, I’ve heard other ppl say that it just goes forever too.
That sounds more like bed bugs. No reported cases of blandford fly in derby, confirmed or unconfirmed.
Where were the bites? All over? It’s rare to get a blandford bite above the lower leg.
You’re right! I didn’t notice until you said it though, it looks like it’s about 20 feet tall!
This one works for me.
I haven’t read the books and still only made it a few episodes in. I just thought it was poorly written and clichéd.
It’s decent. A lot of the things that have been fixed or improved have been done over the last couple of seasons and so are part of the base game.
Blizzard really shot themselves in the foot by releasing the game the way they did. So many ppl played it at launch and have formed a (deserved) bad impression of the game and now it’s really hard to win those ppl back no matter how much they improve the game.
I made the decision to completely avoid the game at launch as I thought it would be a disaster. I only decided to give it a go when it came to gamepass and I’m glad that I waited as I think those early days would have seriously put me off the game.
