That’s the thing. Chiropractic could be considered a manual treatment which is a therapeutic modality. PTs do manual therapies that are less traumatic and are one component of the musculoskeletal issues that contribute to pain that chiro claims to heal. For most situations of acute back pain they resolve in 4 to 6 weeks so even the ineffective treatments appear to help- it’s just like treatments for the common cold.

It is taught and Civil Rights is taught, but we didn’t really learn about ongoing injustices against the black community (redlining and imminent domain, racial biases in the war on drugs, sund9wn towns, etc.) so US history classes painted a picture of it all being largely over with.

Downfall was definitely the wrong word to use. I want this to be impactful and make Reddit change course, but that can only happen if enough people leave.
Part of it is the smaller base, but hopefully with more folks coming in, the different instances can help maintain that vibe

For sure. I’m enjoying it, but reddit’s downfall really depends on how many divest from it and can join us here. I think it’ll be fine because people are coming and there will be guides to help folks navigate, but only time will tell
