Not sure if you saw, but Mozilla announced desktop extensions coming to mobile soon too.

Disclaimer: I’m a Firefox user.
Support for Opera wasn’t a completely separate effort, it just happens to work because, like you said, it’s Chromium based. If it wasn’t, it wouldn’t be supported either…
There are multiple steps in between for installations, but yeah the attack surface is quite large…
It’s a way to share your contact information with other iPhones. Similar to AirDrop but you can setup what gets shared and how their phone saves your contact info.
You’re the first I’ve heard doing this, how does the interior screen work with Graphene? Are there any optimizations to take advantage of it? Or limitations (split screen apps?)? Sorry if these are dumb questions
Never heard of this before but looks pretty fun actually… anyone have any first hand experience with it?
Memmy is so good. And the rate of progress is staggering. The lead dev/repo owner is very nice as well
Yeah, I admittedly havent looked into it too much but if it were easy enough I’d set up an instance at the very least to host users.
Yep, first time! I’ve seen and played bits of it but nothing substantial. Excited to jump in.
Black Mesa. Been waiting to grab it before I play HL2
Played a ton of Remnant when it released. Great game.
Pretty stoked for xDefiant. Beta was very fun
Wait - the Microsoft wireless dongle? That looks like a small USB drive? If that works out of the box I’m definitely setting up a second drive with ChimeraOS on it. I got it working in PopOS but it was a pain in the ass IIRC. That was awhile ago though.
If EA Play is the only barrier to playing these games, you can definitely get them installed and try them out with Proton.
Memmy is great for iOS via testflight, not sure how installing on Android works honestly. I’m preferring it over Mlem

Thanks for linking that issue, I’ve voted on it.
I like the idea and general functionality, my biggest concern is what happens if the owner of Lemmy.world gets hit by a bus? Eventually you’d lose your account, all your subs, etc. Same goes for any other instance really. It’s pretty much my only reservation at this point.
That’s exactly what I’ve been doing. Although many arent showing due to the blackout, so I’m doing my best to stay off at the moment and check back once for those various subs once the blackout is “over”. Not a fan of the power trip and likely will only use reddit very sparingly on desktop from here on out. I almost exclusively used it via Apollo and Infinity for Reddit.
It works through Proton on Steam. Not sure why that wouldn’t be available for OP
