I live on a commune as a farmer.

Message me if you want a copy, I can get the epub for you. It’s really good.
We do critique at our weekly meetings but halfway through the year we all get together to choose an essay topic, we write the essays and present them at our end of year platforming. With weekly critique we usually end up addressing the things we encounter in our day-to-day exchanges but the purpose of the platforming essays is to improve ourselves in more specific aspects that don’t come up in our day-to-day.
Today we’re supposed to turn in platforming essays on patriarchy and the role we’ve played in continuing it. I’m hoping that mine doesn’t suck too bad even though I was always pretty good at writing essays, it just feels different being read by your comrades versus an institution.
I’m Nanticoke dickhead, and no I don’t. Living in rural areas this is what you do to survive. Quit pretending to know my conditions.
Militant veganism seems to always loop back around to anti-indigenous, glad you noticed it too.
You can find me on Matrix as @catfish:genzedong.xyz and you can ask me all the questions you want!
I wish we could but sheep are social animals and need to have at least one other sheep buddy to be happy :<
I have a little sheep plushie at least that is sufficient in cuddlyness and floofyness for when I do start to miss them ;~;
I wear glasses but it’s impossible to find anywhere that takes my medicaid nearby. If I need new glasses I have to drive 2 hours away and 2 hours back, and then still wait for them to be shipped. I was wearing glasses that had to be super glued back together like 8 times and always fell off my face when doing chores before I was able to get new ones finally recently.
I got bad news for you about agriculture in every single AES country then.
Their wool doesn’t make a lot of money, we were hoping to sell lambs to make a bit more but as it is right now we can’t keep them just to sell their wool twice a year because we don’t break even with the amount we have to spend on feed, dewormer, minerals, etc…
Edit: I just realized the implication of replacing him with a different ram, but the reason we’re not doing that either is because we’re about to have a child born on the commune and rams are extremely dangerous.
Yeah we’re a Marxist agricultural commune in the US. I take care of goats and sheep and shit, might be getting rid of the sheep soon though because the ram is a dangerous asshole and none of the ewes will let him hit which kind of defeats the purpose of having him.
I don’t have any advice but I’m so happy you were able to love and cherish the time you shared with all of us on Earth. This post brought tears to my eyes and happiness to my heart. :)
I’m so excited to go home today. I’ve spent the holidays with my family and at first it was pleasant but living on the commune I just got so used to all the open space and nature. I feel like I’ve been trapped in a tiny box for the past month. I can’t wait to see my comrades again. 😭
it does say you still moderate the traa community lol
Welcome back! Good to hear your break went well!
The idea that we were warmongers was made up to justify stealing our land. Who was it that welcomed the colonists with open arms until they spat in our ancestor’s faces? Our stories talk about war parties going out and coming back home with zero blood shed. What conflicts we did have were extremely low intensity, we didn’t have the numbers for the horrific wars like the ones waged against us by the colonists.
Many of the tribes were nomadic, we didn’t have oil reserves to war over. We had hunting grounds and fishing spots and art, and just about everyone agreed that these things weren’t worth dying for.
No, you’re thinking of the main antagonist in The Legend of Zelda franchise. Venezuela is trying to annex Gargamel.
Yes! The tattoo is loosely based off this art.
You don’t live in reality.
