Unironically conservative dads are radicalizing their kids by putting them to work and keeping the profits 😂

Right, and western parents actually love their children unlike the Asiatic hordes I suppose?
So far from what I’ve seen at nparents subs, meh. Western parenting are just more high variety.
Asian parenting is as diverse as all the rice we munch on. Hardly any difference.
A+ meme, and also I’m in fact looking for sincere ideas/resources for how to be a parent trying to raise little comrades. Anybody got anything that comes to mind?
To start just encourage empathy, generosity, collectivism, and a desire to learn. Eventually when they start to notice liberal programming just simply debunk it. When they here about billionaires in the news or from peers tell them about how much exploitation, greed, and luck got them to have that wealth. Point out how many better things could be done with it. If you see homeless people in the street tell them about the injustice of the system that brought them there. How there are many homes that they could live in, but the landowners are too greedy to let them. Just frequently talk about social issues in your household and the children will listen and try to understand, because as a parent you’re interesting to them, they might even ask questions. I could go on for a while, but I hope this helpful.
PS I’m actually a teen and this is what my socdem parents did for me. I’m sure the values they instilled are a major reason why I’m a commie today.
cherish your parents comrade
I’m not a parent but i think it just boils down to giving them quality attention and having good communication with them. For the god of love don’t give them a tablet/phone to keep them entertained when they’re young.
Encourage reading!!! If my parents weren’t so positive about my love of reading at a young age (including Harry Potter lol) I DEFINITELY wouldn’t give enough of a shit about intellectual endeavors or political awareness. I would be a Bernie Bro AT BEST, probably a Centrist who doesn’t care. Also obviously raising a child like a human being, allowing them to have fun, obv not saying you would do this lol, but for example, don’t force your kids to study Marxism-Leninism at a young age, they’ll resent it
Too real :(
:-P

Assigning chores by capability is good, but allowances also need to be distributed by needs?
-
“From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs”, though it’s not like I thoroughly understand what it really meant😆

CIA won’t murder you outright. They will make you lose your job, make your wife leave you, take your kids, then you will somehow end up “dead from suicide due to financial problems and a failed marriage” 😎
I’d argue as the kids’ needs are being met regardless of chores the return on those chores is purely or surplus value. Thus it would be exploitation to have them do chores without compensation, but it’s not unfair to have them work in equal relative difficulty for the same wages. To have an accurate coup, the dad’s friend is probably working for the CIA and will soon kidnap and murder him. Then he will marry his friend’s widow.
Hmm you’re really giving me some food for thought there. Instead of allowance as wages, why not as reward for contributing to collective☭, ehem, common good?
You know, like being a responsible citizen?
But, eh, it’s not like I am planning to have kids anyway 😛
Yeah, when it comes to socialism, should be known that it isn’t just wage leveling. Especially early on and without automation, some people will make more than others.
We’re talking about a difference of the 1% owning about 15% of the wealth (as was the average during the Soviet Union’s lifetime) vs. 1% to 60% (as is the case in contemporary Amerika). Doctors will likely make more than janitors for a long time.
Wage equalization is a protracted struggle, and a sign of the deterioration of the class structure as income disparity shrinks. It’s a process.
It’s a common accusation or hypothetical presented by anti-coms: why should a doctor who spent 8 years in school make more than an entry-level job? Well, we’re not talking about immediate wage equalization. We’re talking about workers setting their own wages collectively, and when workers control and plan the economy, we’ll have a far more rational wage disparity. We already see this with profitable worker co-ops that can afford to charge ludicriously low prices for their services yet still afford to pay their employees well, oftentimes far better than bourgeois industries.
On this wage equalisation thing, me being more of a center left, don’t really see it can work.
But ensuring that even the most lowly paid worker can afford getting fed, clothed, and (Arrrgh!) housed is crucial!
Also, workers having a voice in the operations is important. Not necessarily to give unions overarching power on the whole operations, but at least workers should be given a platform where we can voice our concerns to the management as equals. Let us feel like we matter and our opinions respected?
Like example, the Germans. Their corporations and unions have a more symbiotic relationship, and in return they get some of the most productive workforce in the world.
Meanwhile, in my home country Malaysia, unions are almost nonexistent, while employers have their own special interest group. Worker motivation is low, employee-employer trust is shit, wages is largely stagnant for at least 30 years etc. Result? Our productivity and innovation level is pathetic.
