Sync has a developer who I chose to compensate for their work. I would’ve done the same for connect. I would like people to get compensated for the work they do. It’s great to get something for free, but I am not entitled to their free labor.
Sync is free if you don’t pay 20$ to remove the ads. The payment is more of a way to support the dev really, since you can get rid of ads by other means.
I would much rather pay some money for a great app though than use something non-functional because it’s free.
