And suddenly all is well.
I feel at peace, I often take things on the internet too literally (in person too lol). The whole “touch grass” phrase that many people use doesn’t really resonate with those of us who are neurodivergent. I’m just weary of the online world, but it’s refreshing to see platforms like Lemmy and others in the Fediverse allowing us to control the content we engage with. It’s not just about the content, the audience is different as well.
Whew! How are you guys today?
Welcome, let this place be your grass to touch :). I am doing better than expected. Had a really bad time mentally but slowly recovering and finding joy.
Listening to good music (Sigur Ros, Explosions in the Sky, Dan Auerbach’s wonderful solo albums (singer from the Black Keys).
Playing some fun games I got for cheap in the steam sale.
Watching an anime on Crunchyroll for the first time (The forbidden deduction of Ron Something Something).
What do you enjoy?
Yeah, I’ve never been there mentally, but I’m doing okay right now. I like listening to music, drawing, photography, reading webcomics and a bunch of other creative things.
Any cool webcomics you can recommend? Doesn’t matter how obscure or weird they might be. I haven’t read any, not even xkcd, in ages.
I mostly read webcomics on the Webtoons app, and I’m really into the comedy ones. One that I love is “Maru is a Puppy," which is about a girl whose dog turns into a little girl that she has to take care of. Then there’s “The Ki Sisters,” which is like The Addams Family but with all female characters and a modern twist on pop culture. I’ve also been checking out “K.O,” which follows a guy named Joel. He’s known as the “beast” at school because he fights a lot, but some of his classmates are starting to see that he’s not such a bad guy after all.
I’m not good at explaining so I’ll leave this here!:
