minus-squaredeweydecibel@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up79arrow-down1·1 year agoIts not that much of a loss given you can still launch Dolphin from steam anyway. It just won’t be on the storefront.
minus-squarebrimnac@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up38·1 year agoJust add it as a non-Steam game, right?
minus-squarebrimnac@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up4arrow-down9·1 year agoI constantly say “we live in the future,” and this is more proof.
minus-squarewavebeam@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up4arrow-down1·1 year agoSteam has done this for like 20 years now
minus-squarebrimnac@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2arrow-down4·1 year agoBeing able to emulate a Switch on the SteamDeck by simply adding it as a non-Steam game isn’t something we’ve been able to do for 20 years… but OK.
minus-squareMomoTimeToDie@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up6arrow-down1·1 year agoIf you’re emulating the switch on dolphin, you’re not even in the same time line as everyone else
minus-squarebrimnac@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2arrow-down1·1 year agoOh God, you’re right. It’s late - “GameCube / Wii…” Thanks :)
minus-squareincognito_15@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up12arrow-down1·1 year agoI use Steam ROM Manager to add my games to Steam and it works wonderfully.

minus-squareSentinian@lemmy.onelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·1 year agoAnother thing, all the enhancements planned for dolphin on steam will still be hitting the standalone version
minus-squaredoggle@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2arrow-down12·1 year agoYeah, but you don’t get cloud saves or achievements Can’t complain too much though. Dolphin is so good were spoiled.
minus-squarevinyl@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·1 year agoNot just that, guides, community controller configurations…
