Looking forward to the rest of the Houston series. Maybe a sweep? Maybe? And the offense is still not totally clicking. Julio, Kelenic, France, Cal, and Teoscar have all been a little cool here lately(or longer).

Gonna need an upgrade at 2b cause Caballero isn’t a starter and Wong just doesn’t seem to have it.

Something definitely stinks with how the team approaches the hitting. Too many guys struggling for too long. This team is gonna continue to live and die on the pitching and it seems like pitching has been more consistent lately so that makes me more optimistic about things. I still think the little hot streak is too short to get excited yet though.

As far a 2B, I don’t see why Caballero gets so much doubt though, he’s not an amazing hitter but he’s solid and more than makes up for his deficiency with every other aspect of his game such as his defense, base running, and gamesmanship. He’s got a great edge and hunger that the team desperately needs.

100% agree, it’s sad having some of the best pitching in baseball, and having some good young hitters, that can’t seem to keep up a consistent output.

The talent seems to be there, but doesn’t seem to be nurtured well.

It’s really bizarre how so many of our guys (Julio, JK, and to a lesser extent Geno) have pretty much maintained their power in terms of EV, but their launch angles have just fallen off a cliff and stayed there since like mid-May. I mean, it’s great that Julio and JK can hit the
