Looking for examples of books like:
how to pick locks
how to dumpster dive
how to spot and avoid scams
how to get free stuff
how to use Game Theory to haggle price
Just various “How To” books that would not be found in a Dummies Guide book but would teach you a skill that might help you in Life. Or that would turn you into MacGyver.
Che quite literally wrote the manual on waging guerrilla warfare, just saying.
Underappreciated!
You’d be shocked at what military instruction books you can find online.
The Art of Wheelbuilding by Gerd Schraner, teaches how to build bicycle wheels.
How to stage a military coup.
It’s not exactly instructional, but a pretty interesting read.
Is there a better choice if I’m wanting something more instructional? I’d love a Youtube tutorial series?
Not what you asked, but I think watching YouTube videos is the best way to learn how to pick locks, at least the theory. To actually do it and well, you’ll still need to practice…
