I absolutely love the new UI. It’s so responsive and modern, and for the most part, consistent.

I’ve been on the Beta for awhile and it’s so much better than what Steam used to be.

Desktop launcher finally looks modern. I’m liking it. Haven’t had a chance to try out the notes feature. But, I’m guessing it remembers for each game?

Not so sure about the UI overhaul, but I do like the notes feature. I can see it being a very handy way for me to remember what I’m doing, especially if it syncs between my desktop and my Steam Deck.

That’s great, I’d like to switch off beta as the in-game overlay has been crashing frequently.

This looks great. For sure a shock when I first saw it but I think it’s just enough of a change to make it feel fresh. Then the features seem dope. I usually don’t use the overlay but I might now.

This version is constantly freezing up for me. I click two buttons only for it to freeze for 10 seconds.

Yep, that was a big bullet point, the groundwork to share code between every Steam flavor.

I didn’t have any strong feeling about Steam but I do have to say the desktop performance is snappier.
