I confess, I’m not the fastest reader. When browsing on the desktop site, I don’t have enough time to scan the headlines and choose something to click on before the page refreshes and everything changes. Can this be turned off?
Unfortunately, no. But the Lemmy devs are fixing that issue in the next release.
Right on, thank you.
It’s a known bug.
@Dick_Justice It’s a bug and they are working it. I think there is a GitHub issue already open

Thank you!!
Hey, heres a couple more questions…
How can I click a link like that and have it open in Jerboa, do you know?
Lastly, is there a community for these kind of basic questions?
Thanks for your help!!
@Dick_Justice On Jerboa, its still in the alpha stage, if you click on a link it will take you to the web version of the post or link. you hit back and it takes you back to the app. There is https://lemmy.world/c/asklemmy and https://lemmy.world/c/asklemmy@lemmy.ml and https://lemmy.world/c/lemmy_support@lemmy.ml and https://lemmy.world/ on lemmy.world just create a post and people will answer. I’ve created a couple when i first started 3 days ago and i got comments back quick. Give it a day on here and you will become a pro :P
Thank you!
Wondering the same thing. I like that it updates live, but the option to pause would be great to have. The more people join the more the feed looks like Twitch chat.
