Thousands of Swedish workers are rallying behind 120 Tesla mechanics. The workers are boycotting Teslas until the company signs a contract. Even postal workers may stop delivering mail.

I’m kind of tired of all the Elon news. But this guy is taking L’s left and right today. Brutal.

Ok, but, this isn’t about Elon? He’s not even mentioned in the article, aside from passingly. Tesla isn’t just Elon Musk.

Also this is about worker solidarity. You might be boycotting Tesla and all other Elon-owned companies already, but people should know about the ongoing strike in Sweden.

You seriously think Elon has no part in this anti union bs?

Tommy Wreeth, chairman of the transport workers’ union, said the Swedish labor system is based on collective bargaining agreements, which Tesla, led by the staunchly anti-union Elon Musk, is reluctant to embrace.

Also, passingly is a bit reductive here. It’s not like his name came up on some other tangential issue, he sits at the heart of it. Yes, Tesla is more than Elon (always has been) but as the Tesla CEO, he is involved in some manner here, like it or not.

To me, “Elon news” Is about something that idiot has done personally, not companies he runs. This story is not about Elon.

He is personally partially responsible for the unions being united… He has Streisand himself. A good portion of this is “something that idiot has done personally”.

He has made it VERY clear they need to play hardball with his behavior throughout the years, and with direct pushback in Sweden in some cases.
