There are bigger things happening right now, and this isn’t particularly important to me. This is just for people who talk to me regularly/casually, want to talk to me, refer to me in conversations, or anyone vaguely interested.

Around the middle to end of last year was when I realized that the patriarchal monogamous nuclear family that capitalism pushes on everyone isn’t really for me.

Lately I’ve felt the same for the concept of gender, gender norms and (especially) the binary that is pushed on, specifically for the purpose of division of labor between the nuclear cishet family (which effectively functions as private property) and to exploit the woman to an even greater extent.

So yeah, fuck it.

Pronouns for now are they/he. Will move on to they/them once I feel more comfortable.

Don’t give this too much importance anyway, I’d rather you read Wretched of the Earth instead to get a better understanding of what’s going on.

you can message me if you want a pdf.

Good for you comrade! I feel the similarly. I never strongly identified with being a “boy,” so it wasn’t a hard step to say I’m non-binary. We must abolish gender. There is no irrelevant issue in an interconnected world.

    Good to hear that ❤️

I feel the same way, even though coming from the other end; I never felt like a “girl” I was told (or thought) I should be.

Don’t think posting this is a distraction. Even if it isn’t important to you, realizing it and making real changes through your day-to-day social interaction is an important and meaningful action in itself.

Now go finish Wretched of the Earth ❤️

Comrade, never think your issues are not important because there are bigger things going on, your needs exist and taking care of each other runs deep to the core of our ideology, so do not apologise or feel shame about talking about what you feel, this community is for that after all, so rest easy knowing that you are welcome and your worries are worth talking about, and I wish you best of luck in your new journey exploring other parts of human interaction.
