An armed man is believed to be keeping his young daughter hostage on the tarmac of the Hamburg airport. He had previously used his car to ram the airport gate.

I guess if he won’t cooperate and they won’t be able to get the daughter out safely they will either disarm or disable him non-lethal or if not possible kill him.
