Any first person game at 30fps will give me motion sickness sadly

Strategy games don’t give me any issues though. Which is good because half of them have their campaign speed locked at 30fps with all game logic and map scripts tied to it

This reminds me of NSFW Rivals. Perhaps the worst pirated game I’ve wasted my bandwidth on, and I had to uninstall it immediately. It had a lot of issues, like for example, if you press Alt-Tab, and resume the game later, the mouse stops working, the window size becomes twice the original one, and you can’t even shut the game down. There’s no way to access task manager or any other recovery options - you are supposed to use the in-game shutdown button, which is outside the screen, so eventually you’re forced to power off your computer. And the most important of all, it was locked at 30FPS, most probably because the game was actually a shitty console port. And when you tried forcing it to 60FPS, the game just goes nuts. Cars become so unbelievably fast, cop vehicles turn into bullets, time speeds up, and crashing onto walls will launch the vehicle up as projectiles in the air.

I wish every reasonably popular old game would get a remaster that only decouples frame rate from game logic. That’s all I need for the old C&C games.

NSFW Rivals is the greatest typo ever btw.
