The White House was forced to walk back on president Joe Biden’s claim to have seen “confirmed pictures” of “terrorists beheading children” in Israel.
The Israel Defence Force previously claimed that at least 40 babies were killed in the Kfar Aza kibbutz over the weekend when the Hamas militant group launched an attack on Israel.
The army later clarified to Anadolu news agency that there was “no information confirming” allegations that “Hamas beheaded babies”.
So that was a non-sarcastic concern for whether we were being fair to Hamas? Or a passive-aggressive expression of annoyance that I said we should only condemn them for what they’ve actually done?
Edit: Also I said you were offended, not angry, about the correction. Try reading that sentence again.
Sarcasm is the same thing as deep offense and anger? Are you serious?
I didn’t say you were angry about being corrected, I said you were offended by it, which you do seem to be, else we wouldn’t still be talking. Please read the sentence you replied to again.
I’ll try to help it be more readable for you.
Not only yes, but also I’m not sure why it offends you so deeply to be angry (at Hamas) about the truth (of what Hamas did) instead of a fabrication (which they did not do).
Edited to add: I guess I did make an assumption that you are angry at Hamas. Apologies for that.
I’m not highly offended, I’m not deeply angry. I am, however, highly amused that you seem to think sarcasm equals being highly offended or deeply angry about anything.
If you want to talk about taking offense, you appear to be taking offense at my supposedly not understanding what you said despite you reiterating that I’m supposedly highly offended and deeply angry.
Still waiting for that quote, by the way.
Sorry, I’m not responsible for your lack of reading comprehension.
My “lack of reading comprehension” has nothing to do with you quoting where I was “deeply offended.” Unless that was a lie, of course. Was it a lie? Just curious.
