Ukraine’s state-run energy operator warned Saturday that “there are risks of hydrogen leakage and sputtering of radioactive substances” from the country’s Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant as shelling in the Russian-occupied area continues, despite international pleas for a ceasefire.

“As a result of periodic shelling, the infrastructure of the station has been damaged,” Energoatom said in a statement, cautioning that “the fire hazard is high” and that the plant “operates with the risk of violating radiation and fire safety standards.”

You gain areas, you lost areas. You capture them, control them for a while, and can lose them when the opposite side captures it. Really, it’s that simple.

You don’t understand what a fixing operations is. I love how you keep exposing yourself as being utterly ignorant on the subject you hold strong opinions on. True sign of your intelligence right there.

Please, show me proof that Russia is gaining new areas all the time as you claimed

Here’s a pro Ukrainian map, go look through the history of it https://liveuamap.com/

The fact that you can’t even acknowledge that Russia is gaining territory is beyond hilarious.

I’ve explained to you what a fixing operation is multiple times here. You continue ignoring that and repeating yourself like a broken record. Go read up on how maneuver warfare works, there are lots of historical examples especially from WW2. The fact that you continue to claim that Russia captured this territory simply exposes you as an ignoramus on the subject.

Go learn what a fixing operation is and how maneuver warfare works. Then you can stop making a clown out of yourself here. In the meantime, I’m looking forward to more hilarity.

I know what capturing territory means that’s why I know you’re the one spewing bullshit here. Capturing territory means you take territory with the intent of keeping it. This is demonstrably not what Russia did around Kiev as they made no attempt to keep the territory, and did not send enough troops to do that.

That’s why it’s a fixing operation. They sent enough troops to force Ukraine to hold their troops in place, and then the Russian troops simply left when operations in Donbas were complete.

The fact that you can’t wrap your head around this is simply hilarious.

It’s one thing to be ignorant about something initially, it’s quite another to just keep doubling down when you’ve been explained why your initial understanding was wrong. You are an absolute imbecile.

Oh right, they definitely wanted to keep Kiev with 40k troops, which is what they deployed to take Mariupol which is a city that’s an order of magnitude smaller. Thanks for once again confirming you have absolutely no clue on the subject. LOL indeed.
