Ukraine’s state-run energy operator warned Saturday that “there are risks of hydrogen leakage and sputtering of radioactive substances” from the country’s Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant as shelling in the Russian-occupied area continues, despite international pleas for a ceasefire.
“As a result of periodic shelling, the infrastructure of the station has been damaged,” Energoatom said in a statement, cautioning that “the fire hazard is high” and that the plant “operates with the risk of violating radiation and fire safety standards.”
Capturing territory means you are able to hold it and have supply lines for your troops. Russia clearly didn’t have a sufficient force to hold the territory and never even made an attempt to hold it. The amounts of troops, around 40k around Kiev, were clearly not sufficient to hold that territory or to take Kiev. What those troop did do however is fix Ukrainian forces in place which was crucial in allowing the main force quickly take Donbas. That’s the territory that was actually captured and Russia has held and expanded since the start of the war. You keep on doing your mental gymnastics there though.

Last I checked, what actually happened was that Russia just parked a column of troops next to Kiev for a few weeks and then withdrew it. If that’s what you think capturing territory means what else is there to tell you. 😂

That’s how it works if you have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about.

There is no word twisting. I’ve repeatedly explained to you that a fixing operation is not the same as controlling territory. You’re the one who can’t admit that what you claimed here is idiocy. But the fact that you’re a troll shouldn’t be surprise to anyone at this point.
At this point I think you just crave any attention you can get. It’s kind of sad really.

You set up a false premise that Russia controlled this area by virtue of having troops there, and now you claim that they lost this area. This is how you do propaganda here.
