      Zulip seems to be more of a Slack alternative, like Rocket.chat. The “truest” Discord-like platform seems to be Revolt.
      But both Zulip and Rocket are great platforms!

        Also Mattermost, but that is a bit too open-core for my taste.

        Rocket-chat and Mattermost also have some homebrew federation, but afaik very barebones and experimental.
