I heard that torrenting isn’t good for the tor network, does the same apply for watching videos on peertube?

You could do it, but I wouldn’t recommend it. tor is extremely slow to watch a video, even in 720p (bad quality nowdays.)
i think it slows down the network. better to use something else.
there is a option “help share videos being played” in “my settings” where you can opt-out from using torrent. it’ll use http then. i’ve never had any problems though. (my internet connection isn’t from the 90s anymore.)
