A judge ruled Tuesday that Donald Trump committed fraud for years while building the real estate empire that catapulted him to fame and the White House, and he ordered some of the former president’s companies removed from his control and dissolved.

    I remember hearing about this fraud years and years ago, around the time he first began dabbling in politics during the Obama administration. It was supposedly widely known among people involved in New York local issues. Why did it take all this time to land a conviction?

      Oh don’t worry. There are still years and years of appeals enough that Trump won’t feel the sting of this for the remainder of his natural life.
