      lol really? when it is enabled it says it is blocking some things:

      … but when i disable it i get what seems to be an identically annoying experience as with it enabled.

        Hmm, maybe our rulesets are slightly different. I don’t think I should have anything for this site specifically. But I got just “the article you want” until I disabled it then I get the cookie banner and stuff.

          Interesting, for me it didn’t block anything except three analytics scripts

    Ublock Origin seem to actually block a lot of stuff. I tried to open this on Tor which is more vanilla setup, then I can actually get into this monstrosity

    This is such a class post that even clicking on that link disgusted me, fully knowing that its a simulation.

    I didn’t see anything, I needed to turn off the uBlock Origin add-on to see what was that about. I even give them a random email generated to see what they do, and I didn’t receive any email, neither.

    For me, it’s a nice experience if I didn’t try to figure out what was happening and disabled the add-on.

    EDIT: Didn’t work for me because I have the add-on “I don’t care about cookies” and seems it starts to show all those ads when you click to the cookie pop-up.
