Hey, I encountered this error too. Check to see if your instance has blocked image hosting recently. Many have been doing so recently due to the CSAM issues on !lemmyshitposting@lemmy.world.

You’ll need to host your image on an image hosting site, for example: Imgur or imgbb.

Upload to where? A lot of places have image uploads turned off right now.
