Madison, on the other hand, doesn’t strike me as someone who would do anything for clout. It doesn’t mean she isn’t another toxic person trying to profit off of the situation, but until we know better, it’s safer to err on the side of caution, as she can also very possibly be saying the truth.
Either way, I’m not gonna start hating Linus with a passion, but I sure will disengage from anything LTT (except this Lemmy community, since I’m kind of in charge of it) until everything calms down. Agreed. However, I absolutely don’t know anyone involved, and I won’t just decide to go cancel some random people for “allegations”. Let more people speak. Let facts surface. Then we can see, but honestly, I’d rather have a court of law decide at that point: this is pretty serious.

This is the internet, people need something to be mad about. I’m not saying LMG is in the right and totally fine, but as soon as it comes out someone like them might be bad, people just hop on. I’m waiting for their side of things to come out before really making any judgement. Things don’t look good, but come on, they need a chance to be heard. It’s just common sense.
