I’d rather we don’t keep platforming Jimmy Dore, if it’s all the same to the rest of you.

Honestly I hate free speech absolutism on my feed. My argument honestly is decentralization is free speech to the high level, but I also have the free will to block you or join an instance that blocks you

One area that makes Twitter the absolute best over all the others is people don’t get deleted over hurt feelings like on both Mastodon and Lemmy.

I’m not going to say that Twitter is a prime example of free speech, but at least some high strung self indulgent freak can’t do anythng because someone put up a mean tweet, compared to all the censorship on federated platforms with the cesnorship and account susoensions only seemingly happening in one direction.

No matter what people think of Twitter, it will always sit on top as long as people are free criticze people’s lifestyles. And at least Twitter does actively project against any messaging target at kids. When Musk took over he cleaned out all of pedo teachers talking about gender to destroy children’s sense of identity and make them confused and screwed up.

Apart from Musk taking down every tweet that says something bad about him or something he believes, you are right about no “high strung self indulgent freak” like Musk ever does that.
