Harris never claimed to want to fix the economy. Not once. In fact she explicitly stated the economy is better than ever thanks to Biden’s policies, which she would continue. That is why she lost, lying to the American public about the economy when they can feel being worse off than they have been in their entire life, regardless of age.

B) no one really cares. People want to live. That’s about it. Harris made it clear she was not going to help as she claimed this was already a great economy that just needed to continue as usual. Forklift operators yes, construction workers also yes depending on the region. In many areas of the US the majority of construction workers are undocumented workers and thus kept at or below minimum wage. Forklift operators really don’t make a lot of money. Like more than general warehouse labor but even in decent states that tends to be pretty low on the spectrum.
