Hm, while almost all of the pet subreddits I used to visit allowed grief posts (which is what I thought you were complaining about), none seemed to have a problem with people showcasing their pets’ corpses in photos.
Reddit’s moderation must have descended to total dogshit or maybe there’s one mod common to all these pet subreddits that’s just really weird.
It turned out pretty well, it was my first time improvising a pattern from looking at a finished piece. I ran out of yarn right before transitioning from the top of the beret to the head band, but my wife let me use some of her black yarn to finish it off.
There’s a little bit of a visual indication that the black starts before the end of the round, but it’s only like 10 stitches (out of 100) so it’s not very noticeable.
Well, I crocheted a beret today and started a trihexaflexagon for my wife’s birthday the other day. So I suppose it’s crochet this week.
At this point, most people are happy with Plasma, Cinnamon, or GNOME (whether that’s 2 or 3) and the default customization options.
I use Fluxbox and Conky and I love it, but it’s not for everyone. There’s no way my wife would enjoy the tinkering that I sometimes have to do to get a new Conky config to work properly, so she’s good with Cinnamon.
