  • Same.

For orchids give them some nice roomy medium, I read once about a wiffle ball technique where you put a wiffle ball underneath the stem to ensure airflow at the roots. I don’t have any wiffle balls whenever I’ve repotted, so I usually just do a bark “core” and then a slim wrap around the roots with wet sphagnam moss, and fill in any extra room in the pot with more bark. I soak the orchids in water to the base of their leaves like once every two weeks for 15 minutes in lukewarm to warm water, and put a tiny bit of orchid fertilizer in the mix every few months or so. I put them somewhere that is warm with a lot of indirect light. My oldest ones are I think 5 now, so it’s been working alright for me. I’ve also stopped trying to make them be upright because they naturally lean over, so I just put them however they look comfortable in the pot.

  • We had a backwards compatible ps3 and I was incredibly sad when I discovered I couldn’t play Um Jammer Lammy on it, something in the software fucked up the timing and you just couldn’t press the buttons at the correct time and it sucked

We gave away the ps3 at some point but I still have Um Jammer Lammy. I’ve considered buying a ps2 for it but haven’t bothered so far. The disc is probably in horrible shape by now anyway, it’s just semi sentimental so I keep it.

  • Epic isn’t able to compete because their launcher is missing major simple features like reviews.

I don’t want multiple extra steps when I’m interested in a game. Steam has a big market share because they are giving people what they want in a launcher. That’s it.

Epic can put in the effort if they want but it’s already been like 2 years and as far as i can tell hasn’t really been updated with anything new, I use it for the free games sometimes but otherwise not really. That would only change if they make the launcher more attractive.
