A Noctua NHD15 is still more than capable of cooling pretty much any CPU out there, especially AMD, and especially especially the new 9000 series which apparently run surprisingly cool. Other air cooling options are available. People also like the Thermalright Peerless Assassin, Deep Cool Assassin 3 or Sycthe Fuma all of which are cheaper. Noise wise, they’ll probably be fine in a case sat on the floor.

Short answer: I wouldn’t worry about air cooling a CPU unless your going to do some kind of mad overclocking or breaking benchmark records or something.

They are, but their stems and centre piece are plastic, which just ends up in landfill or litter. A reusable brooch is more environmentally friendly, but at least now they have paper stems and (im assuming) paper centre pieces so when they get thrown away they’re not so bad.

Yes and no. He’s had more serious roles like Life, Safe House, Buried, Smokin’ Aces etc. He certainly has a ‘type’ but at the moment it feels like you could just lift-and-shift his character from one film to another and noone would notice.

One thing I do find nuts is that the poppys have only just moved to paper stems. Every year they’d be busy handing these things out only for the plastic stem and centre to end up in landfill. I bought one of the reusable metal brooch versions a while ago, and just wear that each year, but it’s sad that the disposable nature of them wasn’t taken into consideration when they were designed.

I’d like Ryan to return to more serious roles. He’s a decent actor but he just ends up playing the same character in everything at the moment; he’s getting predictable and typecast imo.

I find it crazy that Black Ops, a series that’d surely sell gangbusters with minimal marketing thanks to word of mouth, gets a marketing budget bigger than the GDP of a small country. Yet a new IP that noone has heard of yet gets a far smaller budget. It seems completely back to front, to me.
