Rechargeable beard trimmer. They last six months , then the charge is less than 5 minutes.
You smoothly worked philosophical theory into the conversation. Subtle.
Well, you’re an engineer, not a neuroscientist like Robert Sapolsky so his research carries more value than your opinion.
It is anecdotal, but compelling. Determinism can’t be falsified, but neither can free will. The neuroscience is interesting, and shouldn’t be dismissed. Sapolsky’s debates are informative.
I present, the Jim Twins:
Twins separated at birth find each other and discover they’ve led identical lives source
You know, there’s a very, very strong emotional incentive to feel agency, and endless aspects of experimental psychology has shown that you stress people or frazzle them or give them an unsolvable problem, and they get a way distorted sense of agency, at that point, as a defence.
Don’t let the atheists win.
Then study theology and prove them wrong.
Great discussion, very informative. Thanks

Why? It’s not like they’re Nazis:
The movement’s extremist ideology has never been much of a secret. Its fighters have been photographed covered with far-right tattoos and insignia, while the regiment is identifiable by the Nazi Wolfsangel logo on their uniforms (the group has denied the symbol carries a Nazi connotation). And the movement is driven by figures with deep roots in Ukraine’s extreme-right scene.
Nationalism. Tribes. In-groups and out-groups. Hierarchy. Authoritarianism. Fascism.
I upvoted because I’m still processing Trump’s first term.
