I think a good step towards the school would be forcing bootloader unlocking to be available. Just like any other computer allow people root access to their own devices. This opens up the ability to install any operating system A user desires.

Not worth it. You will end up playing the h support when something goes wrong.
Can someone please point me to a repo with a nix configuration for a desktop setup with a minimum of KDE? Bonus points for it being more like Fedora.
Came to say this.
Search how not hard. DNS to pick a provider you trust.
Something about boiling a frog
Thanks . I think that is helpful. I think I will start in a vm first. Looks like dual boot is broken.
I’ve been daily driving Fedora KDE as well I was interested in trying kinoite also but have not yet. Is it worth it?
Broken for me also.
Signal shot it’s self in the foot removing sms capabilities. Tragic.
Is that your unbiased opinion about opinions?
My advice, pick a base distribution, and build what you want. Mostly when picking different distros all you are really picking is a package manager, default applications, and a desktop.
If you want to advance in your Linux knowledge building your own will help you quite a bit in learning how it works at the core and what peices are needed to run a system. Then when something breaks you have the understanding to fix or at least properly ask for help. I would especially say this is true if you are looking to switch to arch as your base distribution.
I would only recommend Manjaro to a new person trying to dip their toes into arch but not for their daily driver.
A lot of people here clearly don’t understand how large of a company Samsung is, and what all they sell.
This is actually in correct. They do care about it because they are going to enforce a standard. Which means they will be able to force ads to be displayed. Ads is Google’s main revenue source.
That looks suspiciously like a sewing bobbin.
I know. Lol not actually a /s sadly.
